8 Things you didn't know about cleaning bathrooms!
Bathrooms are one of the toughest areas of a house to clean. They’re also one of the most time-consuming rooms to clean, but also one of the rooms your clients really notice when done well!
Here’s some tips and tricks on how to make cleaning bathrooms easier, better, and more efficient:
1. Wipe mirrors clean without any lint or streaks
Product: Mix ½ white vinegar & ½ distilled water in a spray bottle.
Technique: Use microfiber cloth or newspaper to wipe off the spray
2. Clean stubborn shower soap scum
Product: Fill a dish wand with half vinegar and half dish soap.
Technique: Use the wand to clean soap scum quickly and effectively. Be sure to wear gloves and rinse completely afterwards.
3. Remove tough hard water stains
Product: A lemon!
Technique: Scrub metal hardware with hard water stains with a lemon to break down the stains and leave the room smelling great!
4. Remove mildew from shower curtains
Product: Mix together ½ cup borax, ½ cup vinegar, and 2 cups water.
Technique: Pour it onto the affected areas. Wait 10 minutes and scrub off with a sponge.
5. Clean grout between bathroom tiles
Product: Mix together a paste of ¼ cup borax, ½ cup baking, ½ cup water.
Technique: Using a toothbrush, scrub onto the grout. Rinse away after a few minutes.
6. Get rid of hard water rust stains
Product: An old toothbrush and some toothpaste.
Technique: Now scrub away!
7. Dust the exhaust fan
Product: Use a can of air to clean the exhaust fan!
Technique: Don’t forget to move any toothbrushes first and do this before you wipe down any other surfaces. The air may clean the exhaust fan but the dust will land on any close by surfaces and the ground.

Product: Non-abrasive cleaner such as an all-purpose bathroom cleaner or baking soda.
Technique: Wipe down with a soft lint-free cloth.
